Medical Examiner Confirms Identity Of Body Found In Seminole

SEMINOLE, Oklahoma -- The medical examiner has positively identified a body found in a shallow grave in Seminole.

The M.E. confirmed through dental records the body is Veronica Carlson. The family told News 9 Wednesday the Sheriff informed them it was her.

Police arrested Roger Gober and Marilee Smotherman for the murder but prosecutors have not charged them with a crime.

Veronica's family says her body will be taken to Blackwell for funeral services.
