MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma -- Eleven Muskogee County residents are in jail after a sheriff's deputy serving a warrant Tuesday evening smelled a meth lab operation at a travel trailer near Porum.

Muskogee County Sheriff's deputy Raelea Spears says she was attempting to serve a warrant on Nicholas Wright, 29, when they found 10 other people including Wright's father and mother standing outside the trailer.

Spears says a fellow deputy smelled a strong odor of a meth lab operation.  She says that is when they called in the county's drug task force to help.

A search of the travel trailer and surrounding property turned up meth manufacturing ingredients, a loaded shotgun along with some other items believed to be stolen in some Muskogee County burglaries.
