TULSA, Oklahoma --  Tulsa Police arrested the driver of a pickup truck which bounced off a guardrail and back into traffic, setting off a chain reaction crash early Thursday morning.

Police say they arrested 70-year-old Stanley Campbell of Owasso on a complaint of DUI leading to an injury accident.

The resulting crash in the westbound lanes of the Sand Springs Expressway closed the highway for several hours.

Tulsa Police say two semis and 7 private vehicles were involved.

Officers had to detour westbound drivers at the Gilcrease Museum Road exit.  None of the eastbound lanes of the highway are impacted by the wreck.

At least two motorists suffered injuries.  EMSA transported them to Tulsa hospitals.

The westbound lanes of the highway were re-opened after the wreckage was cleared from the highway.

Campbell's bond is set at $3,500.
