Oklahoma City -- Some may say that it was too close for comfort at times against Missouri, but the Oklahoma State Cowboys came away with a 45-24 win over the Missouri Tigers Saturday and moved to 7-0 for just the third time in school history.

The Cowboys came away with 538 total yards against Missouri, including 195 on the ground, averaging 6.6 yards per snap. Brandon Weeden was his usual self, completing 67 percent of his passes for 338 yards and a score, while Joseph Randle rushed 14 times for 148 yards and 3 TDs. The biggest concerns for the OSU offense were the injuries to Justin Blackmon and Hubert Anyiam.

OSU struggled defensively, letting the Tigers have their way in the rushing game to the tune of 248 yards and two scores on the ground. The Cowboys did force four turnovers in the game, three interceptions and a fumble recovery, all three coming at crucial times. Additionally, OSU came away with a sack and held Missouri to six-of-15 on third down attempts.

There were no kick or punt returns for a touchdown this week, but Justin Gilbert did average 25 yards per kick return, putting the Cowboys in decent field position to start drives. Quinn Sharp missed a 34-yard attempt, just his second miss of the season, but was perfect on extra points.
