TULSA, Oklahoma -- One of Oklahoma's finest returned home and reunited with his family on Sunday.

It was an emotional wait for Private First Class Nick Replogle's family. They haven't seen their soldier in seven months.

He's been serving in Afghanistan as a rifleman. PFC Replogle joined the military for the educational benefits, but is discovering that it could turn into a lifelong path.

"It looked like a good way to get into college so I just figured I could start out a nice career doing that. I may end staying in the military, I don't know. We'll see how it goes," Replogle said.

Replogle will be home for 15 days before he goes back. He said he's looking forward to just relaxing and spending time with his family.
