OKLAHOMA CITY – Federal mediator George Cohen met for the second straight day with the NBA, owners and players' union on Thursday in New York.

The groups met for 16 hours on Wednesday, about eight hours on Tuesday, and will continue at 2 p.m. on Thursday, after the NBA Board of Governors meetings.

Cohen has issued a gag order asking everyone involved with the meetings not to talk about the progress or potential decisions that have gone on.

David Stern said before the meeting that if significant progress was not made during the latest round of meetings, games through Christmas would be in danger of being cancelled.

Meanwhile, reports have indicated that a large group of All-Stars are finalizing plans for a two-week exhibition tour during the void left by canceling the first two weeks of the season.

The tour would be six games on four continents over the span of two weeks.

Nearly all of the top names in the league are apparently involved, including LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin and Russell Westbrook.

Reports indicate that Kevin Durant is also considering joining the tour.

The tour would make stops in locations such as Puerto Rico, London and Australia, but the tour is still far from being official and has the potential to unravel before finalization.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City's exhibition game is still on for Sunday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.
