ARDMORE, Oklahoma – Ardmore Police originally investigated Vernon Love's death as a suicide, but now they've arrested his wife and accused her of killing him.

The body of 51-year-old Love was found Friday, October 14, on the floor of his home in the 1500 block of W. Main Street. Police originally believed he may have killed himself. But new evidence surfaced at the medical examiner's office about how Love truly died.

Police then arrested Love's wife, 39-year-old Lavonda Pinnick. She's being held on complaints of homicide, illegal drugs and weapons possession.

Police have not released a motive in the killing.
