TULSA, Oklahoma -- Three soldiers from Oklahoma's 45th Infantry Brigade are back on the homefront.

The trio arrived Wednesday evening at Tulsa International Airport for two weeks of leave from Afghanistan.

Wearing a miniature set of fatigues, three-year-old Camden stood at attention with a salute until he saw his daddy.

His father, Corporal Mark White, reflected on the mission that's claimed the lives of 13 Oklahomans in the past two months.

"Our guys are out there, I mean, they're working their butts off. It's been getting better and you can tell with the locals. It was pretty rough at first, but it's slowly, slowly getting better," said Oklahoma National Guard Cpl. Mark White.

White says he'll soon have to say goodbye to Camden for four more months, while he finishes his deployment.

Camden was also given a pin by Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett who greeted the soldiers at Tulsa International Airport.
