OKLAHOMA CITY -- Due to the protracted lockout, Oklahoma City shooting guard Thabo Sefolosha has agreed to a deal to play with Fenerbache Ulker of Turkey in the Euroleague.
The fifth-year guard announced the move via his Facebook page Wednesday afternoon, now that the NBA has officially canceled the first two weeks of the regular season.
Sefolosha will join fly to Turkey Thursday to join the team. The deal includes an exit clause that would allow Sefolosha to return to the Thunder when a labor deal is reached.
He started 79 games for the Thunder during the 2010-2011 season, averaging 5.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per contest. Sefolosha was a big part of the Thunder's gameplan for the playoffs, starting all 17 games and drawing the tough defensive matchups.
