MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma – Midwest City police have canceled a silver alert for a 74-year-old woman who was reported missing since Tuesday afternoon. Margaret Loewen was found safe, police say.

Police say Loewen was last seen at 3 p.m. at 820 Stiver Drive in Midwest City.

According to police, Loewen was wearing blue jean shorts and a peach shirt. She was under proven medical or physical disability.

Police say Loewen was driving a black, 4-door, 2000 Ford Taurus, with Oklahoma license place 275EQA.

According to police, Loewen possibly suffers from Alzheimer's. She left between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. and left a note saying she was going home to 437 East Mckinley in Blackwell. However, police say she no longer lives at that address.
