Police Make Major Drug Bust In Edmond

EDMOND, Oklahoma – A call to police about an assault led officers to the second largest drug bust ever in Edmond.

Police said after searching a house for an assault and battery suspect near Santa Fe and 15th on Monday, they found 789 pounds of marijuana, $10,000 in cash and 12 guns.

Officers said the street value of the marijuana is $475,000.

According to police, the house belongs to Dale Jefferson. He was arrested on a total of ten complaints including robbery and drug charges. Shantey Shields was also in the house at the time. He is facing robbery and weapon charges.

Officers said there were also two kids in the house.They're now in DHS custody.
