MCCURTAIN COUNTY, Oklahoma – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating after human bones were found earlier this week in McCurtain County.

The bones were discovered at the edge of a corn field south of Harris near the Red River. Investigators say the remains are possibly a black man, between 30 to 40 years of age. They also show signs of arthritis.

According to investigators, preliminary forensic analysis indicates the man possibly died four to six months ago.

Investigators say they also discovered several items in the nearby area including Aramark jeans size 36" x 32" and one Reebok ERS 1000 tennis shoe.

Anyone has information on a missing person who might wear such clothing and comes close to the description should call the OSBI at (800)-522-8017.
