Norman Driver Killed In Collision With Tree

NORMAN, Oklahoma – A one-vehicle collision has claimed the life of a Norman, Oklahoma man Saturday morning. Norman Police Department reported.

According to the accident report, Norman police, along with Norman Fire Department and EMSTAT responded to the collision at 7:25 a.m., in the 6200 Block of West Rock Creek Road. Fifty-four-year-old Francisco Ontiveros was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say preliminary investigation indicates that this was a one-vehicle accident where the vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.

Officers with the police department's Collision Investigation Reconstruction Team are investigating the accident.
