BUTLER, Oklahoma -- A one-car rollover accident killed a Texas man near Butler shortly after midnight Saturday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

His passenger, 44-year-old Gonzalo Lopez of Normangee, Texas, was not injured.

The investigating trooper reported that Woosley's 1999 Ford Explorer was eastbound on SH 33 when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel.  The vehicle departed the roadway to the right, overcorrected and departed the roadway to the left where it entered a skid and rolled two times before coming to rest on its wheels.

Woosley, who was not wearing a seatbelt according to the trooper's report, was ejected from the vehicle and was crushed as it rolled.  He was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical examiner from to massive injuries.

Lopez, who was uninjured, was wearing a seatbelt, the trooper reported.
