Eleven-Year-Old Struck in Motorcycle-Pedestrian Accident

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police are investigating a motorcycle-pedestrian accident on the city's northwest side which sent one boy to the hospital in critical condition.

Oklahoma City police say the 11-year-old was struck near 4335 N.W. 16th Street around 8 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators say the motorcycle was apparently westbound on 16th Street when the child darted out in front of the driver.

The boy was transported to OU Medical Center in critical condition.

The driver is not suspected of driving under the influence and is cooperating with police.
