OKLAHOMA CITY -- I've covered a lot of wildfires folks, but I've never seen what we saw today.
A man in Noble, presumably the property owner, angrily tries to wave a firefighting helicopter away from his pond.
Never mind that his neighbors' homes were being threatened by flames just a mile away.
The video has sparked a flood of comments.
Karen writes: "News 9 shows the dumb butt out there jumping up and down threatening the helicopter...Priceless!!"
Abbi in Edmond: "You have GOT to be kidding me! I've heard/seen it all now. That is unbelievable!"
Heather in Yukon: "Peoples lives and homes in danger and some guy wants to worry about water in his pond. Really?"
Linda from Stillwater gives the guy the benefit of the doubt: "Wonder if he had livestock that will perish without that water? Maybe water level was already really low?"
Debbie and Don: "I wonder if he would want that chopper to dip out water to save his home?"
Grant from Edmond speculates: "..insanity brought on by the heat of summer?"
Finally Scott from Stillwater: "Guess they could have given his water back by dumping it on him."
