OKLAHOMA CITY -- Firefighters are busy putting out hot spots in Oklahoma County on Thursday.

Firefighters have contained a fire that started back up at Midwest Blvd. just north of Wilshire near N.E. 91st Street.

Firefighters were in this area along with an Oklahoma Task Force, putting out hot spots when the flare up occurred. A batch of cedar trees apparently ignited, sparking the blaze and threatening one home.

According to Deputy Chief Marc Woodward with the Oklahoma City Fire Department, Black Hawk helicopters that were on standby, dropped water on this area. Woodward also said the firefighters have this fire under control, saving one home.

Firefighters are concentrating on an 18 square mile area of the county where wildfire have burned for two days, destroying at least 30 homes and structures.
