NEW ORLEANS -- Three late-game scores lifted the Oklahoma City RedHawks to their sixth consecutive win Tuesday, a 7-5 victory over the New Orleans Zephyrs.

The RedHawks (66-72) fell behind 5-4 in the bottom of the sixth, thanks in-part to a pair of two-run home runs from the Zephyrs (66-72) in the first five innings of the game.

New Orleans brought in Victor Garate in the seventh to hold the lead, but Oklahoma City promptly took advantage. Back-to-back singles put runners on the corners with no outs on the board and J.B. Shuck drew a walk to load the bases with no outs.

Two batters later, Brett Wallace hit a sacrifice fly to left field to bring Jose Vallejo home from third and tie the game 5-5.

Chris Johnson opened up the top of the eighth with a leadoff home run to center field to give Oklahoma City a one-run advantage. Four batters later with two outs on the board, Shuck knocked a line-drive single to bring Robinson Cancel home from third and extend the lead to 7-5.

Garate (3-3) was credited with both a blown save and a loss for the outing, giving up three earned runs on five hits in just two innings of service. Sammy Gervacio (4-0) picked up a win for the outing, giving up just two hits and striking out two in his one inning of service.

Oklahoma City will continue its final road trip of the season at 7 p.m. Wednesday, before playing its final road game of the season Thursday.
