3 People Charged In Fatal Cartwright Shooting

DURANT, Oklahoma -- Bryan County prosecutors have charged three people with first-degree murder in the death of a Denison, Texas, man.

Wesley Kelley, Dustin Metcalf and Harold Hass are accused in the Friday morning killing of 19-year-old Dresean Jones in Cartwright.

The Durant Daily Democrat reported Tuesday that a witness told the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation he and Jones were sitting in a car when another vehicle pulled up and two armed men and another person got out.

Matthew Williams told officials that when his car wouldn't start, Jones got out and argued with the men about money. He was shot as he tried to flee, and died at a Denison hospital.

Attorneys for Hass and Kelley didn't return calls seeking comment.

Jones was a Denison high school football standout.
