OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City have released the number of people attended their grand opening last weekend.

The mall says more than 160,000 people showed up last Friday through Sunday, which was also the tax free weekend in Oklahoma.

On Friday, News 9 was at the mall and traffic have backed up at I-40 at the Council exit for four miles.

The Outlet Shoppes opened Friday morning and attracted massive crowds from all over the state, and even out of state to shop and save. Friday morning before noon, there were an estimated 45,000 shoppers at the mall.
