OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma construction contractor pleaded guilty to home repair fraud and has agreed to reimburse victims in Oklahoma County.

According to Attorney General Scott Pruitt's office, Harold Whitt pleaded guilty Monday in Oklahoma County District Court to six counts of violating the Oklahoma Consumer Protection Act for accepting payment for roof repairs without performing work.

Whitt was featured on one of Amanda Taylor's Consumer Watch reports back in 2009. Whitt has been operating under the company name of All Pro Construction.

He was sentenced to a 10-year suspended sentence and will do six months in the County jail under the condition he reimburses the Oklahoma County victims a total of $26,413.04. Whitt must make monthly payments to the Department of Corrections.

Assistant attorneys general filed charges in Oklahoma County and Cleveland County in June after an investigation by the Public Protection Unit found that Whitt signed contracts and accepted payment for work that was never performed. The charges in Cleveland County are still pending.
