Edmond Grassfire Closes I-35 For Second Time

EDMOND, Oklahoma -- For the second time in a day, I-35 has been shut down near Edmond due to grassfires.
Southbound traffic is being diverted at Waterloo Road. Northbound traffic is being diverted at 2nd Street in Edmond.
The fires began about noon near Sooner Road and Waterloo. Officials believe they are fires rekindled from Friday's grassfires in the area. Structures have now been involved.
No injuries have been reported.
