OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police have arrested a metro man for abusing his two-month-old son.
On July 27, police responded to a call about an abused child at S.W. Medical Center. Dr. Shipman reported a two-month-old boy had been brought in with both leg femurs broken.
Police report say 24-year-old Robert W. Fountain was the father of the child. He told the police that he was changing his son's diapers when he kept on putting his feet down in the feces. Fountain had grabbed both of his son's legs and pulled them away from the diaper. That's when he heard his son's legs popped.
Fountain says he noticed something was wrong when the child kept on crying so he took him to the medical center. The child was later transported by EMSA to the Children's Hospital.
Fountain is booked in Oklahoma County Jail for child abuse with a $10,000 bond.
