The Village Police Looking For Credit Card Theft Suspects

THE VILLAGE, Oklahoma -- The Village Police Department is looking for two people suspected of stealing a credit card and using it at a Super Target store in Edmond.

This happened on July 21. Police responded to a larceny that occurred at the Statesman's Club, located at 10401 Vineyard Blvd. in the Village. The victim says she received a message from Discover Credit Card to verify a charge that was made with her credit card at around 11 a.m. That was when she noticed her wallet was missing from her purse.

The victim says the last time she saw her wallet was when she took it out of her purse to give her husband some money. They went downstairs to the lunchroom afterwards, and she hung the purse on the back of her chair.

The victim says she also has $150 in cash, as well as a Morgan Stanley credit card in that wallet.

Police contacted the Super Target store, located at 2nd St. and Bryant Ave. in Edmond where the purchase was made, and obtained images of the suspects from the store's surveillance cameras.

The suspects are described as a man and woman who were both wearing blue scrubs and appeared to be around 30 years old.

Police say the suspects appeared to drive away in a dark four-door sedan. According to the report, the charge made on the victim's credit card was $4149.27, which includes purchases on several $500 credit cards, office supplies and clothing items.
