OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police are investigating the confusing circumstances surrounding a shooting which happened on the city's south side late Wednesday night.

Police say a man was apparently shot at S.E. 25th Street and S. Shields shortly before 11 p.m., but he was found at EMSA headquarters at 2323 S. Harvey where his friends may have driven him and dropped him off for assistance.

All paramedics were out at the time, so an ambulance crew had to be summoned back to headquarters.

Police said they found shell casings at 25th and S. Shields, and later located the victim's car on Santa Fe.

The extent of the man's injuries was not known, nor did police say if they had any suspects.
