Coal County Couple Shot In Home, Husband Killed

PHILLIPS, Oklahoma -- Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are looking for the shooter who gunned down a couple in the town of Phillips.

Phillips is just south of Coalgate in Coal County. Police say someone shot Gary and Karla Hall inside their home at 701 Fautt. A relative found them around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2. Gary Hall died at the scene. Karla was flown to a Tulsa hospital. Her condition is not known.

The Coal County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI help deputies investigate the double shooting. Authorities have not released any suspect information.
