OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Zoo is hosting the second annual "Art Gone Wild" animal art show, featuring exclusive art works created by the zoo's animals.

This event will be hosted at  "In Your Eye" Gallery in the Historic Paseo Arts District, located at 3005 Paseo St.

Organizers say that each art work in the show has been made especially from some of the animal residents at the zoo, including chimpanzee, elephants, snakes, rhinoceros, flamingos, grizzly bears, and more, with the help of their animal keepers.

Portraits of the zoo's animals created by the artists from "In Your Eye" Gallery will also be on display at the art show.

Opening night of the art show will be Friday, August 5 from 6 to 10 p.m. and a closing reception will be on Friday, August 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Special gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. Show and sale runs through August 27.

According to the organizers of the event, all proceeds from the art works will support the zoo conservation and enrichment programs. In Your Eye Gallery will also donate 10% of their sales to zoo conservation projects.
