OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City RedHawks suffered a disastrous outing on both sides Thursday in a 13-2 drubbing at the hands of the Nashville Sounds.

The Sounds (52-54) kept a constant stream of offense going throughout the night, scoring in each of the game's first eight innings. Their 13 runs came on a total of 19 hits, but only two were home runs, both hit by Tyler Green.

Green was the star of the night, going 4-for-4 with those two homers, two walks, six runs scored and five RBIs.

Meanwhile, the RedHawks (47-59) could not ever seem to come up with hits when they needed them. Their managed to record 13 hits, but they resulted in just one RBI for the entire team. Their other run scored thanks to a throwing error.

The team went 3-of-12 with runners in scoring position and left a total of 11 runners stranded on base. OKC managed to load the bases with only one out in two different innings – the fourth and sixth – but hit into double plays both times to end the threats.

The RedHawks' dismal showing comes at the end of a stretch in which their offense was on fire. They had won five of their last six games coming into the night, and had scored at least five runs in all of those contests.

Both of OKC's losses in its last seven games now have come courtesy of the Sounds, and the two teams will conclude their four-game series at 7:05 p.m. Friday.
