ENID, Oklahoma -- Enid police arrest two people for manufacturing methamphetamine.

According to police, officers went to 1754 Meadowbrook in Enid Saturday morning on complaints from a concerned citizen.

When officers arrived at the home, they found 43-year-old Robert Lash inside. They noticed a strong odor of ether coming from inside the home. Police say that odor is associated with the manufacturing of meth. Officers also reported that Lash had several blister packs of pseudoephedrine tablets in his pocket.

Enid narcotic detectives were called to the scene due to the fact that there may be an active lab inside of the house. Narcotic Sgt. Rick Tanner said that they located four inactive labs and one lab that appeared to be active. He described the labs as being a "One Pot" method. "One Pot method labs are extremely volatile and can be explosive.

"We take every precaution to insure public safety when dealing with these types of labs." said Sgt. Tanner.

Sgt. Tanner also said they discovered different components in other areas of the house that were used in other methods of manufacturing methamphetamine. He said that they could tell that these labs had been in operation for quite some time.

Police say Lash was previously convicted of manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance. Lash was arrested and charged under a new law that makes it unlawful for anyone previously convicted of manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance to even possess any amount of pseudoephedrine. Lash was also charged with manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance.

Officers also arrested Laura Conway who was also at the residence. She was charged with manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance and a Garfield County warrant.
