Visually Impaired Oklahoma Children To Enjoy Sports-Themed Summer Camp

Oklahomans Without Limits (OWL) Camp, a summer camp for blind and visually impaired Oklahoma children, will take place July 24 to July 29 at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.

EDMOND, Oklahoma -- Oklahomans Without Limits (OWL) Camp, a summer camp for blind and visually impaired Oklahoma children, will take place July 24 to July 29 at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.

During the camp, organizers pair each visually impaired child with a sighted buddy. More than 60 children from across the state will participate in this event.

The sports-themed camp includes activities such as swimming, gymnastics, fencing, rock climbing and a basketball clinic with the Oklahoma City Thunder Youth Basketball staff.

This event is organized by NewView Oklahoma.
