CHOCTAW, Oklahoma -- Choctaw police said a North Oak Drive homeowner who was servicing his shotgun Wednesday night accidentally shot his friend.

Police said the men admitted to have been drinking throughout the day.

The homeowner's gun was pointed at the ground when it discharged and ricocheting pellets hit the victim in the knee.

The homeowner was arrested on a complaint of reckless endangerment.

The man who was shot is expected to make a full recovery.
