OKLAHOMA CITY -- Fifteen-year-old Tristan Ryan Owen was formally arraigned Friday afternoon.

A judge denied bond and read the counts of murder and arson to the teen, as he stood motionless in an orange jail jumpsuit and a very stoic expression on his face.

Owen faces two counts of first degree murder and one count of first degree arson for the fatal fire that killed Boyd and Doris Haynes on Wednesday.

The judge mentioned he is going to be getting a court appointed attorney to represent him on those charges.

A probable cause affidavit reveals what police found at the scene of that fatal fire, as well as what Tristan told police about what he was doing out that morning, including the confession he made about making, lighting and throwing homemade Molotov cocktails.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Tristan admitted to taking two whiskey bottles from a friend's home earlier in the evening, and taking paper towels from inside of his house and making Molotov Cocktails out of them.

Tristan also advised officers he set a pair of his pajamas on fire on the west side of his house and admitted to burning trash cans located in the same area, but he denied setting the fire at the house where Boyd and Doris Haynes lived and subsequently died of smoke inhalation.

The funeral for Doris and Boyd Haynes is set for next Wednesday at 10a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church in southwest Oklahoma City.
