OKLAHOMA CITY – Nearly two months after convicting Oklahoma City pharmacist Jerome Ersland of first-degree murders, jurors still do not want to speak publicly about the trial. But one juror agreed to speak anonymously to News 9.

As soon as the gag order was lifted on the Ersland case, News 9 tried to contact the jurors. However, none wanted to speak. Many feared for their safety, or just wanted to return to their normal lives and routines. One juror who wanted to remain anonymous said there was more to this case than meets the eye.

"In this case, it is a very thin line between self defense and murder," said Juror Number Four. "We looked at all of the evidence and there were things other people didn't see. We looked at the judge's instructions and we followed them. Until you are in there and saw what we saw, you can't say. I am comfortable knowing I did the right thing."

Juror Number Four was concerned the judge would suspend the jury's sentence.

"I am pleased the judge did stand by our decision, but I want everyone to move on."

News 9 asked for an on-camera interview with Juror Number Four, but she said she'd had enough of everything relating to Jerome Ersland.

"I have had a hard time from my family members and co-workers telling me I made the wrong decision, but I know we didn't. I never feared for my safety, but people are very critical right now."

After the judge sentenced Jerome Ersland, he walked out of the courtroom and spoke to reporters.

"I think it was an injustice of a monumental proportion and I am going to appeal," Ersland said.

He asked to be taken directly to prison.
