Arcadia Lake Beaches Reopen On Monday

EDMOND, Oklahoma -- All three of the Arcadia Lake beaches will be open again on Monday, July 11.

The City of Edmond and Corps. of Engineers officials received the conclusive test results today that show readings well below the regulated level.

Last week, samples from the tests on June 29 at two Arcadia Lake beach swim areas tested with high levels of bacteria. Additional tests were done last Friday with officials receiving results indicating lower than the regulated levels.

Officials say that the levels in all three swim areas will continue to be monitored and tested until further notice.
