OKC Woman Accused Of Stabbing Children's Father

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police have arrested a woman accused of stabbing the father of her three children in the neck following a fight at their southwest Oklahoma City apartment.

Police say the couple started arguing just before 2 a.m. at the Las Brisas Apartments in the 2100 block of S.W. 39th. The two began fighting outside, but then the argument moved inside the apartment. Police say at some point, the woman pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the neck.

The man left the apartment to get help, and the woman locked herself inside with her three children. Police arrived and tried to convince her to come out, but she refused.

Police allowed a relative to speak to her, and the woman eventually opened the door, let the children leave and surrendered to police.

Officers arrested the woman for assault with a deadly weapon.
