Edmond Man Arrested For Underage Drinking

EDMOND, Oklahoma—Edmond police have arrested a man for having underage drinking in his apartment.

On July 3, 2011, Edmond police officer responded to information in reference to a loud party in an apartment in Edmond, and later discovered that underage drinking had been taking place there.

According to police report, 20 year-old Howard Floyd Mapson was the resident of the apartment, he was arrested for the violation of social host ordinance.

Police discovered that several under aged people had been drinking in Mapson' s apartment and he had not checked the identification of his party guests, he admitted to drinking several beers even though he was underage himself.

Mapson was then transported to Edmond City Jail.
