OKLAHOMA CITY— Oklahoma City police say they caught a robbery suspect after they found his wallet at the crime scene.

The victims say on June 25, Fidel Carlos Huertas approached them near S.E. 29th Street and Shields Boulevard. The say Huertas pointed a gun at them, stole their wallets and a cell phone, then pistol-whipped one of them and ran away.

Police say during the crime, Huertas dropped his own wallet and identification. Officers found it and used the information to track him down.

Huertas is charged with robbery with a firearm. He also faces charges of burglary, carrying a concealed weapon, and concealing stolen property in connection with a previous, unrelated incident.
