OKLAHOMA CITY – A sold-out crowd showed up hoping for a holiday win from the RedHawks, and it was not disappointed.

Oklahoma City knocked off Iowa 3-2 on a 4th of July Monday night in front of a full stadium. In sticking with the holiday tradition, a fireworks display followed the game.

There wasn't a lot of action in the game, but Oklahoma City delivered in fashion when it got on the board.

Koby Clemens sent a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the second to take an early lead, but Iowa would rally back.

The Cubs knocked in a pair of runs off a double from Brad Snyder in the fourth to take a 2-1 lead.

But Clemens had some fans experiencing déjà vu in the sixth, as he sent another solo shot over the wall, this time to center field, to tie the game.

Drew Locke provided the go-ahead RBI in the sixth inning as he single to bring home Luis Durango.

OKC held Iowa scoreless for the game's final five innings in the victory.

The RedHawks had just five hits in the win to Iowa's seven, and OKC also committed two errors.

Gustavo Chacin got the win for Oklahoma City and Casey Fien got the save. The teams will continue their series at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday in OKC.
