OKC Mayor Gets Fit With Kids At Fitness Camp

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett is getting in shape Thursday with the kids at the Total Fitness Camp going on at Seller's Community Center in Southwest Oklahoma City. Instructors from the Police Athletic League taught the kids some martial arts.

"This is a lot of fun," said Mayor Mick Cornett. "I knew a lot more about Marshal Dylan than I did martial arts when I was their age, but getting these kids involved in such great activities and mentoring program through our police department, it's a great service and I'm glad we're able to offer it."

The total fitness camp is a seven week camp, teaching kids the benefits of nutrition and exercise in a fun environment.
