ROUND ROCK, Texas – For the second time in three games, Oklahoma City was on the wrong end of some impressive statistics.

The RedHawks put up plenty of runs, but couldn't hold off the Round Rock Express in a 12-8 loss on Tuesday night.

Round Rock scored its 12 runs on 16 hits, and won easily despite committing three errors in the game.

By the end of the second inning, Oklahoma City was already down 6-0.

Collin DeLome and Anderson Hernandez gave the RedHawks a pair of RBIs in the third, but they were quickly matched by the Express.

Round Rock's biggest inning came in the bottom of the seventh, when its four runs gave it a commanding seven-run lead.

Oklahoma City put up a valiant rally effort in the top of the ninth. The RedHawks scored on three successive at-bats, but couldn't match the offensive output in the end.

OKC put up 13 hits of its own in the loss.

The RedHawks will now have a day off on Wednesday before heading to Memphis to start a series. Thursday's game is set for 7:05 p.m.
