EDMOND, Oklahoma -- Police need help finding a burglary suspect who used stolen loot to go shopping in Edmond.

Someone broke into a house near N.W. 178th Street and Western on June 13. The burglar stole a wallet and laptop computers. Police believe that same person also broke into a car in Edmond and stole more items.

A few hours later, credit cards swiped during both burglaries were used at a 7-Eleven Store at 1230 N. Kelly in Edmond. A surveillance camera recorded video of the suspect. When the suspect left the store, he dropped in the parking lot an ID and gift cards belonging to the Edmond auto burglary victim.

The suspect is a black male in his early 20s. He was wearing blue shorts, a black and white shirt, and a black ball cap turned backwards. He was seen driving a dark red convertible Ford Mustang. If you recognize this person, contact Edmond police at (405) 359-4336, or text a tip to 625-8398.
