Midwest City Teen Accused Of Killing Grandparents Bound Over For Trial

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A Midwest City teenager accused of killing his grandparents then setting their house on fire will be tried for their murders.

Kyle Smith waived his right to a preliminary hearing Monday, and a judge bound him over for trial. Prosecutors say Smith killed his grandparents with a machete back in March, then called two friends to help him cover up the crime scene.

Police say the three drove to get gas, poured it around the house, and set it on fire.
