ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico – A high-scoring and exciting affair resulted in an 11-7 road victory for the RedHawks against the Albuquerque Isotopes on Friday night.

In a game that saw no shortage of action, OKC jumped on the board with a solo homer from Collin DeLome in the second at-bat of the game.

From there, the RedHawks exploded for five runs in the second inning to jump out to a 6-0 lead.

But the game was far from over at that point. Albuquerque responded with a run in the bottom of the second and four runs, including two homers, in the bottom of the third to pull back to within one.

The RedHawks asserted themselves once again with a steady stream of runs to pull away, scoring at least one run in five of the final six innings.

The Isotopes racked up 14 runs to OKC's 10, but were unable to capitalize on them the way the RedHawks did.

Brian Esposito had three hits, three RBIs and two runs in the game to lead OKC offensively.

Pitcher Nelson Figueroa picked up the win on the mound despite giving up 11 hits and six runs in six innings.

The RedHawks begin a four-game series at Round Rock at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
