Firefighters Battle Apartment Blaze In SE OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Firefighters battled an apartment fire on the city's southeast side shortly after 10 p.m. Friday.

Units arriving on the scene reported heavy flames in a two-story structure at 3422 S.E. 44th St.

No injuries were reported and firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control quickly.

Early indications were that the fire began in a first-floor apartment.
