WEATHERFORD, Oklahoma -- News 9's Road Trip rolls into Weatherford!

The News 9 crew met our great viewers Friday, but also learned about the community during a lunch with town leaders at The Renaissance.

You could say Weatherford is undergoing it's own renaissance right now.

Voters passed a sales tax extension that will pay to build a new fire station, a new performing arts center at the high school, a new event center at SWOSU and extend the runway at the Stafford Airport.

Devon is also building a new field office which will bring more jobs.
