Man Escapes Courtroom, Not Sex Crime Verdict

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man found guilty Thursday of indecent and lewd acts with a child under the age of 16 is on the lam.

Kent Savage, who was freed on an $88,000 bond, failed to appear for his trial in Oklahoma County District Court Thursday morning.  He apparently left the court room during proceedings Wednesday and never returned.

The jury found him guilty and recommended two life sentences.
