Felony Charges Filed In Shawnee Horse Abuse Case

SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -- A property owner in Shawnee now faces felony charges for cruelty to animals.

The District Attorney filed the charges against John Spangler for allegedly abusing three horses.

An area veterinarian found the starving horses last week and has been caring for them since.
