OKLAHOMA CITY -- Kids ages 11 and under can Celebrate Summer at the Oklahoma City Zoo with free admission from June 18-30.

On Father's Day, Sunday, June 19th, all dads get in free with any paid admission.

Special events were planned for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to kick off the celebration.

Kids could "Bowl for Rhinos" and learn about the conservation of that species. Animals were given icy treats to keep cool in the hot weather.

Kids also celebrated World Ocean's Day with crafts, games, activities and prizes.

The Zoo is located at the crossroads of Interstate 44 and Interstate 35 in Oklahoma City's Adventure District.
