OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City RedHawks lost their second-consecutive game Monday, opening their home stand with a 4-3 loss to the Albuquerque Isotopes.

Albuquerque (37-26) starter Tim Sexton (3-0) remained perfect on the season, giving up just two earned runs on eight hits in his six innings of service. Gustavo Chacin (2-3) lasted 5.1 innings for Oklahoma City (26-38), giving up six hits and three earned runs in his outing.

Brian Bogusevic started things off for the RedHawks in the game, knocking a two-out single to left field and advancing to second via steal. Robinson Cancel knocked a line-drive to left field to bring Bogusevic home from and take a 1-0 lead.

In the top of the third with a runner on first, the Isotopes' Jerry Sands hit his sixth home run of the season to give Albuquerque a 2-1 advantage. Trayvon Robinson's leadoff homerun in the top of the fourth made it a two-run lead for the Isotopes.

Oklahoma City tried to battle back, thanks to a Brandon Barnes RBI double to right field to bring Tommy Manzella home from third, cutting the lead to one run.

However, John Lindsey scored an insurance run for the Isotopes, singling to right field to bring Eugenio Velez home from second. The RedHawks scored a run in the bottom of the eight, but went three-up, three-down in the ninth to finish the game.

The RedHawks will try to stop the skid in a doubleheader Tuesday against the Isotopes, starting at 5:05 p.m.
