Despite the five runs, the Storm Chasers actually left plenty of runners on base after registering 14 hits in the game.

Oklahoma City also added in two errors to help Omaha out.

OKC got some help right off the bat as a wild pitch brought home Anderson Hernandez for a 1-0 lead. Brian Dopirak singled later in the first inning to bring home Brian Bogusevic to up the lead to 2-0.

But Omaha responded quickly, putting up all five of its runs in the first three innings.

Oklahoma City was only able to muster two more runs – one in the sixth and one in the seventh – before falling short.

OKC's Andy Van Hekken had a rough day on the mound, giving up 10 hits and five runs in the loss.

The RedHawks will continue their road series with Omaha on Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
